Ukraine's 'Dragon Fire' Drones and Attacks on Russian Forces

Ukraine is using flamethrower drones, nicknamed 'Dragon Fire', to target Russian troops hiding in cover. This strategic use of drones, as shown in a video from the 108th Territorial Defense Brigade, involves setting forest areas on fire.

The Ukrainian president is advocating for the use of long-range systems like Storm Shadow missiles, but the country's limited capabilities have forced them to rely on relatively inexpensive drones for pinprick attacks. The ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia heavily relies on combat drones, as Ukraine is restricted from fully utilizing all the weapons provided by the West.

In addition to these drone attacks, Ukraine has conducted large-scale drone strikes on Russian energy facilities, including power plants and oil refineries, to undermine Russia's ability to supply its forces and cut into their energy revenues.

These attacks on Russian infrastructure have been met with claims of shooting down the drones from Russia.
