Russian attacks in Kiev caused extensive damage to civilian facilities, including a school, a metro station, shops, and a bakery. In Dnipro, explosions left one person dead and six injured, while Ukrainian refugees are arriving in Dnipro from Russian-advancing areas.

Poltava was also targeted by a Russian missile strike, resulting in the deaths of at least 41 people and injuring over 180. The attacks on Ukraine's power grid have been frequent, causing fires and black smoke.

President Zelenskyy demands accountability for the attacks and calls for air defenses from the West. Satellites show destruction in a large Russian oil depot, and Ukrainian drones have reduced oil production.

Russian forces continue their offensive, threatening to encircle hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers in Donezk. The use of drones in the conflict is escalating, with Ukraine using them to target Russian positions, and Russia previously using them against Ukrainian ammunition depots.

A video shows a Ukrainian drone using thermite bombs and grenades to destroy abandoned Russian vehicles. The use of incendiary attacks within civilian-populated areas is prohibited under international law.
