Putin's Approval Rating Hits Record Low Amidst Ukrainian Invasion

The latest report by the Institute for the Study of War reveals that the dissatisfaction of the Russian population with the government and President Vladimir Putin is increasing following the Ukrainian invasion of the Russian region of Kursk.

Surveys conducted by the state-Russian polling institute Public Opinion Foundation and the Center for Public Opinion Research show a decline in Putin's approval rating, reaching a record low since the beginning of the Russian war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Russia has arrested two Colombian citizens who allegedly fought for Ukraine, and Ukraine accuses Russia of massive use of chemical weapons. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg considers the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region as legitimate, and the International Criminal Court insists on arresting Putin during his upcoming visit to Mongolia.
