Dissatisfaction with Russian government grows as Putin's approval rating drops

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has reported that the invasion of the Russian region of Kursk by Ukraine has led to an increase in dissatisfaction among the Russian population towards their government and President Vladimir Putin.

A survey by the state-Russian polling institute Public Opinion Foundation found that 28% of respondents expressed outrage or dissatisfaction with the Russian authorities' response to the Ukrainian invasion. Additionally, Putin's approval rating has dropped to a record low of 73.6%, according to surveys by the state-Russian Center for Public Opinion Research.
