Kyiv asks NATO for help after fierce Russian attacks

Kyiv has requested assistance from NATO following heavy Russian air strikes and attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and civilians. The NATO-Ukraine Council is meeting to discuss the situation and the country's needs.

Defense Minister Umerov is participating in the meeting via video. Russian troops continue their assault attacks around Donbas, causing destruction and casualties.

Explosions in oil depots in Russia have also been reported. The force ratio in the conflict is currently at 100,000 to 100,000.

Despite the slow advance of the Russian forces, Russia believes it has achieved its goals in the special operation. Defense of the annexed territories and possible further territorial conquests are of concern.

The situation is being closely monitored by international leaders and military experts.
