Despite some showers, the heat is expected to continue in Hessen, with temperatures reaching up to 34°C. The weekend will bring some relief with cooler temperatures and occasional showers and thunderstorms. The weather in Essen will be hot on Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures reaching up to 32°C and 28°C respectively, followed by a cool down and the possibility of showers and thunderstorms. Berlin and Brandenburg are also experiencing heat with temperatures up to 35°C, prompting an official heat warning. The heat wave is also affecting Bayern, where temperatures are expected to reach up to 35°C, despite the approaching autumn. NRW is also experiencing hot temperatures, particularly in cities like Düsseldorf, Köln, and Mülheim an der Ruhr. The weather will become more unstable with showers and thunderstorms from Friday onwards.
