State Election: Woidke Declines Campaign Appearance with Chancellor

Brandenburg's SPD state premier Woidke is refraining from campaign appearances with Chancellor Scholz. He wants to win the state election against the AfD and tie his political fate to it.

Other parties are relying on political celebrities like Merz, Baerbock, Habeck and Lindner. The Chancellor would have a short way to his hometown of Potsdam.

Woidke had already won seven state elections and wants to win the eighth as well.
