Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has announced that 14 Palestinian groups, including Hamas and Fatah, have agreed to establish a national interim government of 'reconciliation' for the Gaza Strip after the war. The key point is the agreement to form a 'national interim government for reconciliation', said Wang after the signing of the 'Beijing Declaration' by the groups in the Chinese capital.

The groups also include the secular Fatah. China aims to play a constructive role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and supports a two-state solution.

China's infrastructure project, the New Silk Road, holds significance for the region.
