State Election: AfD Saxony Expects Election Victory - List of 'Immediate Measures'

The AfD Saxony expects an election victory and wants to sound out the willingness to cooperate with other parties. The state chairman Jörg Urban expects over 30% of the votes.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution classifies the AfD as right-wing extremist. So far, all parties in parliament have ruled out a coalition with the AfD, and the Sahra Wagenknecht alliance has also signaled that such cooperation is out of the question.

In the event of a change of government, the AfD announces 'immediate measures': riot police are to prevent illegal migration at the borders, municipalities and districts are to be reimbursed for additional costs related to migration, the part-time work of teachers is to be reviewed, and teachers currently employed elsewhere in authorities are to be deployed again in the school service.

In addition, children and young people from asylum seeker families without prospects of staying or those 'who do not yet speak German' are to be taught separately. The AfD rejects the broadcasting fees in their current form and instead wants to introduce a tax-financed model for core tasks.
