Russia: Medvedev declares no talks with Ukraine after Kursk attack

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has stated that there will be no negotiations with Ukraine until the country is completely defeated, citing the lack of tangible results from previous peace talks. This comes after the Ukrainian armed forces launched an attack on a missile system in the Russian region of Rostov, which had been used for attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.

The accuracy of the strike is currently being evaluated. Medvedev's comments highlight the Kremlin's hardline stance towards Ukraine and their rejection of peace talks mediated by other nations.

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has seen a surge in drone attacks, with Ukraine launching one of the largest ever drone attacks on Moscow. Russia claims to have destroyed 45 Ukrainian drones, including 11 over the capital.

Despite the Ukrainian offensive in Kursk, Russia has managed to maintain control over the logistics hub of Niu-York in eastern Ukraine. However, the situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in military operations and make gains on the ground.
