Russia Evacuates Residents as Ukrainian Incursion Continues

As the Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk region intensifies, over 100,000 people are being evacuated by the Russian authorities. The aim of Ukraine's attack is to exhaust Russian forces and destabilize the country.

In response, the Russian military has deployed reserve forces, tanks, aircraft, artillery, and drones to suppress the incursion. Ukrainian forces have made significant advancements, penetrating up to 30 kilometers into Russian territory in some areas.

The Russian air defense has successfully destroyed numerous Ukrainian drones, including 11 over Kursk. Meanwhile, a fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has occurred without any nuclear leak.

The situation remains tense, with ongoing battles and Russian counterattacks. President Zelenskiy presents Ukraine's raid as evidence of their ability to seize initiative, while Russia accuses the US of enabling the strikes and denies any involvement in the planning.
