In parallel, the FBI is investigating suspected cyberattacks on the Trump and Biden-Harris campaigns. According to reports, there have been phishing attempts and leaked documents. The Trump campaign is accusing an Iranian group of hacking its website, reminiscent of the Watergate scandal. These cyberattacks allegedly occurred in June when Trump was selecting his vice presidential running mate. The Biden-Harris campaign and former Trump adviser Roger Stone were also the target of cyber attacks.
