Long-time YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki dies at the age of 56

Susan Wojcicki, the former CEO of YouTube, has passed away at the age of 56 after a two-year battle with lung cancer. She was a key figure in the history of Google, having rented her garage to the company's founders and played a pivotal role in its development.

Wojcicki was responsible for the creation of Google's image search, as well as the acquisition of YouTube and the advertising platform Doubleclick. She led YouTube from 2014 until her departure last year.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai described her as an incredible person and a leader who had a significant impact on the world. Wojcicki's passing is deeply mourned by her husband and five children.

Her contributions to Google and YouTube will be greatly missed.
