According to Russian reports, Ukraine has launched new attacks on targets in the annexed Crimean peninsula and border regions. One person was killed and five others injured in an attack on a ferry in the Black Sea port of Kawkas near Crimea.

The Russian defense ministry claimed to have intercepted and destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones over the border regions and Crimea. Both Russia and Ukraine have been using drones extensively in the conflict.

The Ukrainian army has intensified its attacks on Russian territory, targeting border towns and energy infrastructure. Russia announced the capture of another village in eastern Ukraine, while the Ukrainian foreign minister is holding talks in China about a possible end to the war.
