EU Commission Announces Decision on Tariffs on Electric Vehicles from China

The EU Commission has announced its decision to impose provisional tariffs on electric vehicles imported from China. The tariffs range from 17.4% to 37.6% and are in response to allegations of unfair state subsidies given to Chinese manufacturers.

The EU aims to protect its own automotive industry from competition and ensure a level playing field. German companies that have relocated their production to China will also be affected by the tariffs.
